Academic and Career Advising Services

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and TLRC (UPV Teaching and Learning Resource Center Website) provides necessary student support services like summer bridge, tutorials, photocopying, printing, audio-visual room use, and borrowing of books, movies, computers, and game pieces.

The guidance counselor is another support service for students that offers counseling in various issues both academic and non-academic.

UP students and faculty with UP email are also eligible for access to UP software subscriptions such as ArcGIS for imagery and remote sensing data, adobe acrobat as a pdf collaborative tool, nvivo, SPSS for data analysis, qualtrics, slido, matlab, and zoom.

The UP Visayas University Library allows free and digital access to articles, books, online journals, electronic book collections, and research databases via institutional access (see Electronic Resources).The library maintains subscriptions to databases that are needed for the curriculum.

UPV CRSIS is a student information system that allows students to register and enroll online, providing a convenient and efficient way to manage their academic affairs. Faculty and staff can also access student information through the system, making it easier to track progress and offer support.

LMS is a moodle-based virtual learning environment that provides a range of features and tools to support online learning, including the ability to upload and share resources, facilitate discussions and collaboration, and track student progress.
